You can find inspiration in the strangest of places, and this week my flash of motivation came from a song whilst walking down Electric Avenue!
Yes, the original E-lec-trick A-ven-new from the song of the same name, a shabby yet friendly little corner of Brixton.
It's fair to say, we have all known the power of music to envoke key moments in our past, and I believe in the potential for good things to happen to people at anytime in their lives, so I was happy to snap this one up!
But I know I wouldn't have heard this song in quite the same positive way, if I was focusing on the hassle rather than enjoying the hullabaloo...
The song is called I'm Free and the inspiring "trigger" lines go...
I'm shaking the past, making my breaks,
Taking control, if that's what it takes!
I'm FREE!
Simple, but when you've got a reason to act, BOOM! you can take action immediately.
And what made me smile about this most was;
a) It explains in a nut shell what can happen to an individual who is ready to change
b) It is non-divisive. These "BIG" messages are not just in "BIG" books!
and c)...
I rushed home pulled out a dusty CD, and converted a 1 minute market moment, in to an hour long concert!

PS I have an eclectic taste in music, so let me know if you want any inspiring lyrics from other genres... I'd love the challenge!
